Football Alberta has recently partnered with a company called Vertical Raise to become our official fundraiser partner for Football Alberta. Their program is incredibly easy to run, and they have reps across the province that will do all the work for you. Individual teams are raising as much last $20,000 with only 20 minutes of work from the families and athletes. We have included information below on their program and some examples.

Vertical Raise is one of the easiest and most effective ways for teams to raise money. Whether it’s football, basketball, hockey, etc., their platform makes fundraising simple. It allows teams to raise funds entirely online for travel, uniforms, tournament fees, or new equipment, without door-to-door sales or handling cash.

How It Works

After the meeting, players have a day or two to finalize their contact lists. Once ready, the campaign goes live and the automation begins. Messages are sent directly to each athlete’s contacts, and donations start coming in from anywhere, whether local, across Canada, or even internationally.

We prioritize transparency and compliance — all campaigns are conducted in accordance with Provincial and Federal Security Anti-Spam Laws. In their Privacy Policy and Terms and Conditions, you will see that they do not keep or sell contact information, we do not store credit card details, and we use Tilled which is one of the safest payment sources in the world. We do not engage in spam, ensuring that both programs and their supporters can trust the process from start to finish. Additionally, all data is stored through Digital Ocean’s secure data center in Toronto, ON.
