Team Alberta U16

U16 Selection Camps ($175 + GST) 

• Quarterback Selection Camp in Red Deer
  • April 6^th in The Dome Red Deer.
  • All Quarterbacks must attend and the top QB’s will be invited to the North or South Selection Camps.
  • If not successful at the QB Selection Camp players can change positions if they want. 

• North Selection Camp in Edmonton
  • April 11-13 in the U of A Foote Field Dome, Edmonton.
  • This camp is open to players from teams including Red Deer, Rocky Mountain. House, Sylvan Lake and further NORTH.
  • 3 On-Field Sessions and a Scrimmage. 

• South Selection Camp in Calgary
  • April 25-27 in the Shouldice Athletic Park, Calgary.
  • This camp is open to players on teams from SOUTH of Red Deer, Rocky Mountain House and Sylvan Lake.
  • 3 On-Field Sessions and a Scrimmage. 

In order to register for the Selection Camp you must receive a Nomination Letter from your Bantam or High School Coach.

Deadline to Register is March 15^th, 2025.

U16 North Regional Bowl & South Regional Bowl ($200 + GST)

• May 16 - 19.
• Top 80 North players in Edmonton split onto two teams.
• Top 80 South players in Calgary split onto two teams.
• 6 practices Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
• Regional North vs. South Bowl Game in Red Deer on Monday May 19^th. 
• Players will be on their own for transportation, accommodations, and meals.

Final Selection Camp (No extra charge)

• June 13 - 15
• Top 40-60 players in Red Deer
• 4 practices
• Players will be on their own for transportation, accommodations, and meals

Football Canada U16 Western Challenge

• Top 40 U16 players will be selected to Team Alberta.
• Football Canada U16 Western Challenge in Winnipeg, MB June 29-July 6 with Games on July 2 & 5
• 8 practices and 2 games.
• Team Registration includes flights, accommodations, meals, apparel and all team expenses.
• Cost of Team Alberta will be $2,000.  Plus a $250 fundraising requirement.
• Additional Fundraising options will be available to help lower the cost.
