2023 Alberta Summer Games
Football Alberta is excited to participate in the 2023 Alberta Summer Games in Okotoks July 20-23. We will have 8 Regional teams competing in 3 game tournament starting with Selection Camps in April. All the dates and information can be found below.

Players must be Bantam aged during the 2022 Season or a Grade 10 player born in 2008.

STEP 1 - Selection Camps
- EDMONTON NORTH will host one Selection Camp and select 3 equal Alberta Summer Games teams
- Zones 5, 6, 7 & 8
- April 14-16 at U of A Foote Field.
- Friday April 14 - 7 to 9pm
- Saturday April 15 - 10am to 1pm & 3 to 6pm
- Sunday April 16 - 12 to 3pm
- CALGARY METRO will host one Selection Camp and select 3 equal Alberta Summer Games teams.
- Zones 2 & 3
- April 21-23 in Calgary Encana Field in Shouldice Athletic Park
- Friday April 21 - 6 to 9pm
- Saturday April 22 - 10am to 1pm & 3 to 6pm
- Sunday April 23 - 12 to 2pm
- CENTRAL will hold a Selection Camp to select one team.
- Zone 4
- May 5-7 in Red Deer @ Setters Field in Great Chief Park
- Friday May 5th - 5 to 7pm
- Saturday May 6th - 10am to 12pm and 2 to 4pm
- Sunday May 7th - 10am to 12pm
- SOUTH will hold Selection Camps in Medicine Hat and Lethbridge to select one team.
- Zone 1
- April 28 - Friday Night in Medicine Hat.
- April 29 - Saturday Morning @ U of L Stadium - Lethbridge.
- April 29 - Final Selection Camp - Saturday Afternoon @ U of L Stadium - Lethbridge
STEP 2 - Install Camps & Quarterfinal Games
- Install Camp May 19-21 in Edmonton, Red Deer, Calgary & Lethbridge
- 4 Quarter-Final Games May 22 in Red Deer
Quarter Finals - Monday - May 22, 2023 @ Setters Place, Great Chief Park, Red Deer
G1 - Edmonton North Elks vs. Central Huskies @ 10:00 a.m.
G2 - Edmonton North Golden Bears vs. Edmonton North Wildcats @ 1:00 p.m.
G3 - Calgary Metro Dinos vs. South Knights @ 4:00 p.m.
G4 - Calgary Metro Colts vs. Calgary Metro Stampeders @ 7:00 p.m.
STEP 3 - Alberta Summer Games
- Practice July 17-18 in Edmonton, Red Deer, Calgary & Lethbridge
- Semi-Finals July 19 in Edmonton and Calgary
- Alberta Summer Games July 20-23 in Okotoks
The cost per player for the Install Weekend and Alberta Summer Games is $500.
