Women’s Team Alberta

Team Alberta will be competing the Football Canada 2020 Women’s National Championship.   Top 40 players will be selected to participate for Team Alberta.  The process with start with a Selection Camp February 7-9 in Edmonton in the U of A Foote Field Dome.  You must be born in 2001 or earlier to be eligible for Team Alberta.

Step 1 – Team Alberta Women’s Selection Camp – U of A Foote Field
  • Friday February 7 – Registration & Meetings @ 5pm and On-Field @ 7:30pm
  • Saturday February 8 – On-Field @ 9:45am & 4:15pm
  • Sunday February 9 – On-Field @ 7am
  • Cost $100, includes practice jersey and 4 practices
  • Players will need to bring their own equipment
  • Accommodations and Meals are the responsibility of the players
 Step 2 – Team Alberta Final Selection Camp
  • Site TBD
  • Weekend in June or July 2020
  • No additional cost
 Step 3 – Football Canada Women’s National Championships
  • July 28 – August 7
  • Game Days August 1,4 & 7
  • Sherwood Park, Alberta
  • All players are required to stay in the hotel and be with the team for the entire event
  • Estimated Cost of $1,500 (5-month payment plan of $300/month between March-July)
    • This is a Football Canada event and all teams cost share the cost of airfare, bussing, accommodations and food. Although we are the host, we pay the same as all provinces)
